LGC Investment Awards nomination

Cumbria Pension Fund has been shortlisted for the national LGC Investment Awards 2024 in the ‘ESG innovation’ category.

The LGC Investment Awards celebrate excellence and innovation in local government, and this shortlisting highlights our collaborative approach, in integrating developing our Responsible Investment Policy. Our entry stood out for its extensive engagement including surveying 43,000 members, gathering employer feedback and hosting a round table with key stakeholders like Cumbria Divest.

This accolade reflects our commitment to responsible investment and offers a model for other pension funds to enhance their own engagement.

The winners of the LGC Investment Awards will be revealed at a ceremony in London on 29 November.
